HISTORY

14 years ago in the land of cover music and pub bands there was a handfull of young bands with the passion to rock. These bands and their closest friends all took a road trip to Kenting with the humble ideas of getting to nature, learning to camp, making new friends and playing a show. Little did they know they were making history.

VENUE

The venues have changed over the years from an outdoor pub called Magic Studios, to the beach area now developed by Chateau hotel, to the peaceful and beautiful Lioufu campground, and now at the Erluanbi Light house national park.

MUSIC

Since the first Spring Scream year of the pig 1995, the number of bands has grown to over 500 applicant bands, the music, the musicians, and the live shows have evolved and improved to become the most entertaining weekend of music on the island. This year we are aiming at 300 bands over the days of the event.

FILM

Annually there is a film festival, and through the years it has also evolved. We welcome your help to make this part of the event special and meaningful. This year we are planning a dedicated stage for the film

ART

Exhibition, displays and on site big sculptures are encouraged, so if you have some big art you want to show at Spring Scream please contact us.

ABOUT US

The original Spring Scream music festival has been organized by Radish Records
since it's beginning in 1995. It is operated by a small staff and an army of volunteers.
It's founders and organizers Wade and Jimi have been in many bands (Dribdas, TexMexSexHex, Tongue, Cat-tail, Dirt Star, .22) and wanted to support and bring together the music community out of the big city in a clean natural place with sand, sea, camping, and music.

A. 今年的唯一場地在"鵝鑾鼻公園", 也就是"鵝鑾鼻燈塔"的那個公園,
位在台灣的最南端, 墾丁路直走到底即可到鵝鑾路31號.

- 歷史 -

【春天吶喊】音樂藝術祭創辦於1995年。
最初他們的想法只是想要在像墾丁這樣風光明媚的山景海邊，幾十個玩樂團的朋友，彈唱音樂、一起露營、認識新朋友，順便辦個音樂同樂會。當時雖然已經開始有唱自己創作的歌曲，但演出的樂團也大多還是表演翻唱歌曲。這群人他們當時並不知道，自己將揭開一段歷史的序幕。

- 場地 -
這些年來，"春天吶喊"的場地數度更迭，從一開始的室內展演場地"夢幻墾丁"，到墾丁大街旁的海邊沙灘空地 (現在已經變成一座旅館)，到後來遷入墾丁國家公園牌樓內美麗的六福山莊露營地，現在則有幸進駐到墾丁國家公園所屬的－－鵝鑾鼻公園內舉辦，還有附屬的露營場地可供使用．

- 音樂 -

"春天吶喊"創辦自1995年來，參加的樂團和表演者到2007年的報名數已近500組，這些音樂人和他們創作的音樂，以及他們所帶來的現場演出，造就了台灣每年最好看過癮的一個音樂祭，今年的這個連續假期，我們希望可以讓300個團演出.

每年一度在春天吶喊中的影片展，經過這幾年的舉辦也帶動更多影展和電影結合，我們誠摯地歡迎你的加入，讓這個活動更加地特別和有意義，今年我們將設置一個專屬的影片播放台．

我們歡迎並鼓勵任何藝術相關的展演型式加入，像是展覽、各式陳列或大型裝置藝術等等都可以，如果你有任何想法或參與請與我們聯絡!
