春天吶喊和城市遊牧影展團隊又再攜手合作了, 看樂團表演之餘, 在這個小型影展區順便休息一下.
Urban Nomad Film Fest was founded in Taipei in 2002 by two expatriate journalists in Taiwan, David Frazier and Sean Scanlan. It is the only film festival in Taiwan that is both fully independent and receives no government funding. The ongoing project is to create a community-oriented film environment and put an end to the impersonal ‘black box’ movie theater environment where hundreds of people can watch films without really interacting with each other. We show everything from experimental works and video art to surf videos and award-winning documentaries. This year's Spring Scream programming will be no exception.
城市遊牧影展團隊在台北成立於2002年, 有豐富的策展經驗, 靈魂人是David Frazier and Sean Scanlan. 他們是目前在台灣唯一完全獨力策展(沒有政府補助)的單位. 現階段他們正在努力的計劃一個社群導向的放片場景, 以終結傳統冷漠的黑盒子般的戲院環境 (在戲院裡數百名觀眾一起看電影但卻毫無互動). 我們也將會用實驗性的藝術手法向各位展現一系列的影片及得獎紀錄片, 春天吶喊影片也不例外.

Maix Mayer
我們所播放的是兩部由德國藝術家Maix Mayer所製作的電影。一部為”Transrapid”，另一部是他的得獎電影”Habitat”
Maix Mayer (出生於萊比錫，1960年) 現居住在萊比錫並以攝影師及概念藝術師為他的職業。在他和Astrid Kein 學習攝影之前，他在 1987年完成了海洋生物學研究並且取得了海洋生態的學位。
在他的攝影作品、電影和藝術品中，Maix Mayer利用城市空間的許多例子來觀察現今社會型態的轉變。因此建築本身成為轉變的主角。Maix Mayer將這些建築物視為社會烏托邦的符號、象徵，利用其構圖來使周遭的事物與建築共處並且能融入其中。
今年在克萊蒙費朗的第24屆國際 Video festival Videoformes上， Maix Mayer 的 “Habitat”得了二獎。2009年他在在柏林Guaridini畫廊、台北Goethe學院、Dresden市的Europäisches Zentrum der Künste及沃爾夫斯堡的市立美術館開他的個展。

Two films will be shown by German artist, Maix Mayer, one film, "Transrapid", and another is his award winning film, "Habitat".
Maix Mayer (born 1960 in Leipzig) lives and works as photographer and conceptual artist Leipzig. In 1987 he finished the studies of marine biology gaining the diploma in Marine Ecology, before he studied photography with Astrid Klein.
In his photographs, films and installations Maix Mayer observes the transformation of our society using the example of urban spaces. Thereby architecture itself becomes the protagonist. Maix Mayer arranges architecture as symbols for social Utopias, as architectural icons. The surrounding becomes nearly compatible.
On this year's 24th International Videofestival Videoformes in Clermont-Ferrand the film "habitat" by Maix Mayer had been awarded the 2nd prize. Further solo exhibitions in 2009 took place at Guaridini Galerie Berlin, Goethe Institut Taipei, Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden and at Städtische Galerie Wolfsburg.
